Zoom to open a UK data centre in 2026
Zoom has announced plans to open a UK-based data centre in the first half of 2026, a major step towards strengthening data residency and compliance for UK customers.
The new facility will support key services, including Meetings, Webinars, Rooms, Team Chat, Phone, Notes, Docs, and Zoom AI Companion. This move brings local infrastructure, enhanced compliance, and greater control over where data is stored, especially valuable for organisations in regulated sectors such as the Public Sector, Healthcare, and Financial Services.
The UK now faces FOUR nationally significant cyberattacks every week
That’s the stark warning from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), and they’re calling on every organisation, large and small, to make cybersecurity a board-level responsibility.
