Salutem partners with CloudClevr for IT managed services
Driven by their desire to provide meaningful, engaging and transparent services, Salutem Care and Education takes pride in offering comprehensive care and support that spans from childhood through to older life for each person they support nationwide.
Salutem recently went out to tender for IT managed services support. Salutem was no stranger to outsourcing its IT services and was looking for a partner that could support them with the changing requirements of their business and the specific needs of the industry Salutem operates.
The approach
The team approached CloudClevr, known then as Bamboo Technology, and was immediately impressed with the approach taken.
Rather than rely solely on a one-dimensional selling approach, CloudClevr brought its partnership ethos to the fore from the very start.
By including access to the whole team, CloudClevr built a high degree of trust with Salutem and made a final decision relatively straightforward.
Shortly after signing the contract, Bamboo Technology was taken over by CloudClevr Group.
This initially raised some alarm bells with Salutem but any questions marks were very quickly put to bed by the rapid engagement of CloudClevr executives who shared their vision and details of the additional benefits and capabilities Salutem could expect from the CloudClevr Group.
A hidden gem in Clevr360
Dave Pagett, Head of IT at Salutem takes up the story:
“The service levels and support we have received exceeded even my expectations, with a diligent and committed team at CloudClevr excelling from day one. And any concerns about ‘Go Live’ week completely disappeared when it was clear that everything had happened seamlessly.”
“It is fair to say that I had become so used to user support calls coming into me personally each day that when those ceased, I initially thought there was an issue with my mobile. The mobile was fine. It turns out that end users were getting the support they needed, from a very responsive and helpful IT team at CloudClevr.”
An added benefit of moving to CloudClevr that Dave didn’t expect, was to be given access to Clevr360 which Dave describes as “an absolute hidden gem”
The results
“This is all part of the service they provide. Clevr360 gives me a window into our Microsoft 365 estate, pulling all the important data and insights we need into a single-pane-of-glass view.
Saving me time and effort that would otherwise be needed hunting through other portals to find hidden information.”
And immediately Dave and the team at Salutem saw strong potential benefits. The first thing Clevr360 highlighted was that around 15% of their Microsoft 365 licences had not been signed in to for more than six months!
“For the size of our business, that is roughly 100 licences I can re-use or remove. And this is only from the first release of Clevr360.”
Clevr360 was released to customers in February 2024 with a strong roadmap of future development which Dave at Salutem is looking forward to it.
“I am keen to see the roadmap and what other insights and functions will help me to manage and optimise my
technology estate.” The wider team at Salutem is equally delighted with their experiences with CloudClevr and the way the whole transition project was managed.
“It was clear every step of the way what was happening and when. We felt that from the start of the tender process right through to the handover, Bamboo, now Cloudclevr, had our backs.”
